For Crysis 2 Electronic Arts and Crytek have committed the science-fiction writer Richard Morgan. Richard Morgan writes the story of the highly anticipated Crysis successor. The recently introduced Crysis 2 Trailer looks very professional and raises high expectations for the new first-person shooter.

Recently, the development company Crytek and Electronic Arts have a trailer for Crysis 2 at New York’s Times Square had demonstrated. The impressive trailer has now been officially published. Exciting is not so much the graphical representation of the story as a prelude to the game. For if there was never a doubt, then the fact that Crysis 2 will have to offer much more graphically. At the high hardware requirements for the first part of Crysis PC gamers some have failed.

With more experience and technical progress in developing the graphics engine but this time the hardware requirements are intended to represent any particular hurdle. Crysis 2 works with the new 3rd Cryengine Now Electronic Arts has revealed that the story for Crysis 2 from the pen of best-selling author Richard Morgan is. Morgan has established himself as a writer of science fiction novels like “The Unterblichkeitsprogramm” and “Fallen Angel” a name. As for video games, this is his first project as an author.

However, Richard Morgan is a fan of video games. In his eyes, the medium of video games just as many ways to present exciting and emotionally gripping stories like films and books. Played the first part on a tropical island, is the player in Crysis 2 in New York, where he must fend off an invasion by aliens, the humans are far superior weapons technology. The aliens put New York in ruins, and want to wipe out humanity. Police and military have to counter the alien invaders not much.

Only the player controlled character has one equipped with special technology suit that one gives in the fight against the aliens is a realistic chance. Crysis 2 will appear at the end of the year for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Our fellow Joystiqpresent at the GDC, to get an interview with Ron Pressner, general manager of Xbox Live, and Michael Klucher, manager of XNA Game Studio. The information obtained confirms some rumorsand also provides valuable details about the game system in the new mobile operating system from Microsoft.

It is confirmed that the Games for Windows Phone 7 Series can be developed on two platforms: XNA Game Studio and Silverlight, which means we will not see anything in Flash or Java games. While some securities may be offered on multiple platforms (Xbox 360, Zune and WP7S HD) via Xbox Live, can not save games between platforms, at least not yet. We have also used the code for HD in the Zune software can be reused in a “90 to 95%” on Windows Phone 7 Series devices, which allow games to be ported within hours.

As far as hardware is concerned, the options for manufacturers are very limited. This will help the software to work almost seamlessly across different devices. Finally confirm that multiplayer games may not be shared in real time, and only have the option to play in shifts. On specific titles have preferred to say nothing at the moment, but we do not doubt that such information will be among us soon.
