The social network Facebook just sign a partnership agreement with the creator of one of its most popular applications, Farmville. Zynga, which is the name the company behind the popular farm, has started a “long-term relationship” with Mark Zuckerberg’s company which will run for five years.
Fruit of the accordance of Zynga users may use the Facebook Credits on purchases for both initial FarmVille to other games of its manufacture in the near future, as Treasure Isle, Zynga Poker, Mafia Wars, YoVille, Coffee World, and PetVille FishVille . Furthermore, conditions are expected to be extended to other areas such as the inclusion of advertising.
“We are pleased to reach an agreement with Zynga to improve the experience of the Facebook users who use these games.,” Said Sheryl Sandberg, COO at Facebook. “We will continue working with Zynga and all our developers to create more opportunities in our platform.”
Zynga, based Potrero Hill (San Francisco) was born three years ago and now their games are enjoyed by 230 million active users each month.
Both firms, with an obvious symbiotic relationship since the incorporation of social network FarmVille hope to attract more traffic and users with this partnership, whose financial details were not disclosed.
