Simplify Facebook privacy options
It seems that the criticism it has taken a toll on Facebook . And his answer will be to simplify the privacy options, has said Tim Sparapani , responsible for public policy of the social network.
Yesterday, during an interview on a radio, Sparapani said:
Now that we have listened to our users that options are a bit complex, I’ll work on that. We will provide options for users who want simplistic Privacy stripes to choose and I think we will see in the next couple of weeks.
It is not a step backwards, of course. In addition, Sparapani defended during the interview changes to privacy settings and noted the challenge of the rapid growth of the company within this field.
I still do not know how will these options. In Wired speculate that it is possible that in the case ofsets of configurations “type”, something like “I’m an exhibitionist” or “I just want to share with friends and family.” Anyway, remember that you can use this tool scan your level of privacy for Facebook to see what conditions is your account. At least until they get those stripes “simplistic” (bad choice of word, by the way).
