There are a few demonstrations in some places in Bangkok and Pattaya these days, and I wonder if they will stop during a day or two. It’s Songkran festival, and most of us are going on holiday, so it’s not convenient if they block some major roads. Furthermore, we are leaving for Pattaya tomorrow, and I that the crowd will disperse soon.

We canceled our plan to go to the national park as it rains a lot lately, but just make a trip to Nakhon Nayok on Tuesday. It would not be nice staying in the “jungle” in the rain as we can’t do much jungle trek or animal watching at night anyway. That’s why hubby booked a room at my kids’ favorite resort near Pattaya, which is the one with a horse stable. They are very excited to see “their ponies” again!

If you are traveling to Thailand lately, please do not wear anything in red or yellow, unless you are going to show your support for a particular party. You will be asking for trouble, if you are so unfortunate to bump into the wrong supporters. I’m not sure if Massachusetts Drunk Driving Lawyer :) will help you win the case, if you are injured or harmed. So, it’s best to be safe than sorry.

So, I’m going to pack carefully for our trips. Just remember, no red nor yellow!
