HP reveals new camera with touchscreen
Not least in the field of smart phones and, increasingly, laptops going on for some time, even with the trend towards digital copies with an LCD touch screen. Hewlett Packard now introduces a total of eight new digital cameras and camcorders, which are partly controlled by a touch-sensitive screen.
Among the newly introduced devices also include a new interface that will allow for ease of use. This includes, for example, higher contrast settings of the screen and 25 shooting modes for different situations. If a special recording mode selected will appear after the shooting two pictures on the screen, one of which shows the recording in Auto mode, another for the set mode.
The two cameras, “HP CW450t” and “HP PW460t” have a 2.7 inch or 3.0 inch wide screen, which is sensitive to touch. Also on board are then each a 4-fold optical zoom and support for up to 32 gigabyte SD / SDHC memory cards. These cameras will come in the colours blue and merlot or pink and gray for 109, respectively 149 U.S. dollars on the market. The two camcorders with touch screens V5061u “and” V5560u “can each be operated on a 3.0-inch screen and record in 1080p quality. During the V5560u has a 5-fold optical zoom, the V5061u space for two SD / SDHC memory cards, plus the ability to use AA batteries if the included lithium-ion battery is not charged. Price moves V5061u to 169 U.S. dollars, for the V5560u be estimated 199 U.S. dollars.
Among the other new cameras is the HP CW450 with a 2.7-inch screen and 4-times optical zoom in the colours black and red for 99 U.S. dollars, the HP SW450 is also a 2.7-inch screen, 4-times optical zoom and a lithium-ion battery in turquoise or red for $ 129 and the HP PW550z with a 2.7-inch screen, 5-times optical zoom, lithium-ion battery and wide angle lens in the colours Black or Purple for 149 U.S. dollars. The third camcorder in league HP V1020h starts at 720p quality, also contains a lithium-ion rechargeable battery and an additional USB port and will reach 109 U.S. dollars for free trade.
Except for the latter Camcorder HP V1020h all devices will release this spring, the V1020h will be available until summer 2010.
