2TB HDD Caviar Black hard drive from Western Digital
Western Digital has introduced the new Caviar Black HDD 2TB Hard Disk, which represents one of the new high-end disks in addition to the Deskstar 7K2000 HDD made by Hitachi. The new Caviar Black 2TB here has a speed of 7200 rpm and is equipped with a SATA 3Gbps interface and with 64MB of cache.
The drive will appear under the name WD2001FASS and is yet to be equipped with the StableTrac technology. The lifetime is estimated at approximately 1.2 million hours and the price is currently estimated at 250 € upwards through various online stores, though it is not already available in our trade.
